POSITION TITLE: Teller

General Summary:

Provides quality service by assisting customers accurately and efficiently and develops long term customer relationships.
Receives and pays money to bank customers and maintains accurate record keeping of deposits and withdrawals, negotiable instruments, and other bank transactions. Help customers over the phone as necessary. Listens and watches for cues from customers for needs of additional products and makes referrals to appropriate personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Have a good understanding of the bank products/services, offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance banking relationships.
2. Greets customers and handles paper and cash transactions including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, accepting loan payments, and sale of negotiable instruments.
3. Assists in granting customers access to safe deposit boxes when necessary.
4. Listens to customer needs to make appropriate customer referrals to other bank staff to promote products and services.
5. Balances teller drawer at the end of each shift and other wrap up work that may be necessary.
6. Assists in proofing transactions using back-counter capture.
7. Completes forms such as CTRs, SIRs, and any other BSA reporting as necessary.
8. Provides ongoing relationship, servicing current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
9. Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts.
10. Promotes and cross-sells other products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.
11. Prepares holds on deposits as necessary.
12. Other duties as assigned

POSITION TITLE: Customer Care Center Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Greet customers and perform transactions including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and accepting loan payments both over the phone and through an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).
• Listen to customers and review current relationships to offer products and services best suited to fit their needs
• Review online banking applications, process bill pay applications, remote deposit capture batches and review and approve mobile deposit transitions
• Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve customer online banking issues.
• Receive, research and resolve customer inquiries about their accounts.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a call center environment
• At least 1 year of banking experience
• At least six months of customer service experience
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of personal finances and concept of budgeting
• Must be a self-starter, dependable and have a great attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to change

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.


 

POSITION TITLE: Operations Support Representative

General Summary:

The ideal candidate must be well organized, flexible and self-directed, with excellent judgment. This position will provide support to front line employees, research for customers,
monitor Overdraft programs, update and maintain account files. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Respond to front line questions regarding statements and deposit accounts
• Research for customer complaints
• Understand and monitor Overdraft programs
• Coordinate the Overdraft repayment plan
• Update and maintain account files according to policy
• Produce entries to write off balances and refer information for approval
• Maintain information within Chexsystems
• May perform daily system functions to handle DDA Non Post, Cash Items, Business Returns, Fed Incoming/Outgoing Returns, Stop Payments and other transactional items
• Ensure work product adheres with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work effectively as a team member

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Drive to learn
• Ability to learn to use new technology effectively
• 3+ years’ experience in financial services industry
• Knowledge of bank operations including functions, products, services and regulations

• High School graduate or equivalent required; prefer a bachelor’s degree
